Get the Smile You’ve Always Dreamed of with Invisalign
31 October,2016Invisalign Clear Aligners - Get The Smile You Deserve
Invisalign is the alternative way to get braces, without all the drawbacks of traditional approaches to teeth straightening. Unlike traditional orthodontic cases, Invisalign doesn’t have wires that need tightening or metallic braces that are clearly visible. They’re discreet, functional and cause no interference as you get along with life.
If you’ve always wanted a set of straight teeth but never had the opportunity to get them in the past, now is the perfect time. At Dental on Clarendon, we strive to find the right treatment plan for your teeth straightening needs. We will perform a complete evaluation of your oral health and use X-rays, photographs and impressions of your teeth to create aligners that will restore alignment to your set of teeth. It’s important that you work with one of our dental practitioners who’s skilled and trained to use Invisalign in order to receive excellent results. You’ll need to come in to see us for follow up visits approximately every four to six weeks.
What Are These Invisible Braces?
Invisalign are transparent aligners made from smooth BPA-free plastic. They’re designed to be worn over your teeth without causing you pain or discomfort. Patients only experience pressure when the aligners are first placed over the teeth. Throughout the treatment, the position of your teeth will shift and you begin to see results. Anyone of our dentists will be able to determine the length of your treatment.
What's The Treatment Like?
After carefully assessing your X-rays, your dentist will discuss your treatment options with you. Impressions of your teeth will help lab technicians manufacture a set of aligners that will correct your misaligned teeth. Once the aligners reach our office, you’ll be asked to come in for a visit. Aligners will be fitted for you and additional sets will be given to you to take home. You will have to use and change these aligners according to the dentist’s instructions.
Approximately 4 weeks later, you’ll be scheduled for another visit to determine the progress you’ve made. The condition of your teeth will be monitored regularly, until you achieve the results you’re after. Aligners have to be worn for at least 22 hours each day for fast results. As you continue wearing them, your teeth will slowly move into the desired position without causing you any pain.
Since they’re completely invisible, they’re the treatment of choice for children or adults who are too embarrassed to get traditional metallic braces.
Once your teeth are properly aligned, you won’t have to wear aligners any longer, but you will have to use retainers to prevent the outcome from being reversed. Retainers are also transparent and personalised to suit your teeth.
Dental on Clarendon offers you the latest dental products at competitive prices. We assure you quality and superior services at our family dental clinic. Drop in for a visit or make an enquiry online. We aim to do our best to meet your dental needs.
