During his dental studies, Dr. Arik participated in a volunteer program, offering dental treatments to underserved communities in Cambodia.

He also gained valuable experience in the public sector through a summer elective at Monash Health Dental Services, where he treated emergency patients. Dr. Arik is deeply committed to prioritizing his patients’ needs, ensuring a personalized and minimal discomfort dental experience. Outside of his dental career, he enjoys playing soccer, drumming, and photography.

Dr. Laith completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne, following a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from Monash University. He is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in wisdom teeth surgery, endodontics, and implants.

Fluent in both English and Arabic, Laith is known for his gentle and caring nature. He is dedicated to providing professionals clinical care and takes pride in working closely with his patients to help them achieve their desired outcomes. His compassionate approach ensures that every dental visit is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Outside of dentistry, Laith enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, staying active, and exploring new cafes.

Dr Linda Duong graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and a Master of Dentistry. She has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and smile transformations, including porcelain veneers, crowns, dental implants, and full-arch rehabilitation.

Dr Linda believes every smile is unique. She is committed to providing comprehensive, personalised dental care by tailoring treatment to each patient’s individual needs, goals, and lifestyle. Taking the time to listen, educate, and thoroughly explain every treatment option is central to her approach, ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their decisions.

Known for her gentle nature and approachable personality, Dr Linda enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and creating a positive dental experience for people of all ages, including those who may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. Whether it’s maintaining a healthy smile or achieving a complete smile transformation, she is passionate about helping her patients look and feel their very best.

Dr Linda is fluent in English and Vietnamese and can also hold a conversation in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Teochew.

Formerly a concert musician, Dr Paul relished working with his hands thus leading him to complete a Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Western Australia.

Paul spent several years in private practice in Perth before relocating to Melbourne.  His dental interests lie in restorative dentistry, dental implants and invisalign.  Paul’s overenthusiasm in continuing professional development led him to complete multiple courses, including a Masters in Orofacial Pain through the University of Sydney and a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Implantology through the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology.

Paul initially found his passion for dentistry on a chance volunteer trip to Cambodia, where he witnessed first-hand the importance of access to adequate dental care.  Since then, Paul makes regular trips to Vietnam and Cambodia alongside a close-knit team of doctors and dentists to look after and provide treatment to underprivileged communities.

Outside of dentistry, Paul enjoys spending time with friends, going to the gym, playing tennis and volleyball, travelling and exploring all the food options Melbourne has to offer.

Dr Yingzhi (Alexandra) Xu obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2011.

During her studies, she had the opportunity to further her various interests in dentistry through research studies funded through scholarships. One of these projects resulted in publication with her as the second author in 2011.

After graduation, Dr Xu joined a large private practice in Perth’s CBD, where she worked for about four years. In 2015, Dr Xu moved to Melbourne and worked in private practice before joining Dental on Clarendon in late 2021.

Dr Xu believes that one of the most important components of dental excellence is listening to, and working together with, her patients to meet their needs and concerns. She also understands that seeing the dentist can be a source of anxiety for many. Therefore, Dr Xu strives to provide a relaxed environment and gentleness at every appointment.

Dr Xu is fluent in both English and Mandarin, having relocated at a young age with her family from China to New Zealand.

Outside of Dentistry, during her time in Perth, Dr Xu studied fashion design part-time at Curtin University and in 2014 won her category in Telstra Perth Fashion Festival Future Runway. Since moving to Melbourne, Dr Xu has continued in her creative pursuits and was one of the designers included in the Creative Victoria ‘Fashion Unites’ project with Multicultural Museums Victoria that was part of the Melbourne Fashion Festival Program 2021. Dr Xu’s interest in art and design gives her a keen eye for small detail and aesthetics that she applies to dentistry.

After completing his Bachelor of Dental Health Science, Dr Pinkus went on to earn his Master of Dentistry from La Trobe University in 2014. Since then, he has actively pursued numerous post-grad courses to further his knowledge and skills in all aspects of dentistry.

As a member of the Australian Dental Association, Dr Pinkus stays at the forefront of the latest advancements in dental care. He has a keen interest in dental implants and teeth straightening, having completed additional professional development and continuing education courses in orthodontics and implant surgery.

Dr Joseph Ibrahim is a caring and dedicated dentist who holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Monash University.

Dr Ibrahim enjoys practising all aspects of general and family dentistry, with interests in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and root canal therapy. He is also a certified Invisalign provider, offering clear aligner treatments to help patients achieve confident, healthy smiles.

Known for his friendly and approachable chair-side manner, Joseph takes the time to understand each patient’s individual needs and is committed to providing personalised, high-quality care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and believes in building long-term relationships based on trust and open communication.

Dr Ian Malkinson has had a love for dentistry from an early age. He followed his passion and dedication to dentistry, graduating in 1990 from the University of the Witwatersrand Dental School in Johannesburg, South Africa. As of 1993, Dr Malkinson successfully attained the Australian Dental Examination Council qualification.

In South Africa, Dr Ian Malkinson spent 3 years in public and private dental practices. He and his wife immigrated to Melbourne, Australia in 1994. Here in Melbourne, Ian has been a member of the Australian Dental Association since 1994.

Dr Malkinson has been the Principal Dentist of his South Melbourne dental practice since 1995. The dental practice has grown over time from a small solo practice to a large group practice which offers all aspects of dentistry using the latest in dental technology.
